eConsent

eConsent allows users to create tailored consent forms to allow patients to give their recorded consent to a medical procedure.

There are four kinds of consent forms that are generated:

• Form 1 - The patient is 16 years or older, competent to consent and the procedure requires general anaesthetic.

• Form 2 - The patient is under 16 years of age.

• Form 3 - The patient is 16 years or older, competent to consent and the procedure requires local anaesthetic.

• Form 4 - The patient is 16 years or older and has been flagged as incompetent to consent.

Once all sections have been completed the consent form can then be either:

• Signed immediately if all parties required are present.

• Saved and signed at a later date, either remotely or in person.
