Set referrer questions

Referrers must ask their patient safety questions before ordering an exam. A Cris administrator can write safety questions, group them into sets of related questions, and set question parameters.

  1. Click Question to expand the section.

  2. Click the New Question button.

  3. Enter the question name.

  4. Enter the full question.

  5. Select a Question Type from the drop-down.

  6. For YES / KNOW / DON'T KNOW, select the outcome of the patient giving each of those answers.

  7. Select which patients this question applies to (sex and age).

  8. Click the Add button.

  9. Click the Save button.

    10. Your question is displayed in the question list.

Warning:

You cannot edit or delete a question that belongs to a question set. Hover over the Delete Question button to see the set name.

Note:

Safety questions with Alert as the response will trigger the creation of a patient alarm in Cris.

The patient banner indicates the presence of any known alarms or allergies. Click open or + to expand the banner.

 

  1. Click Question Set to expand the section.

  2. Click the New Question Set button.

  3. Enter the set name.

  4. Click the Next button.

  5. Select one or more hospitals from the Facility field.

  6. Click outside the menu to close it.

  7. Select any number of either exams OR modalities.

  8. Click outside the menu to close it.

  9. Click the Next button.

  10. Select a question from the Questions field.

  11. Click the Add button.

  12. Repeat 10 - 11 as required.

  13. Click the Save button.

    14. Your question set is displayed in the question set list.

  1. Click Question Set to expand the section.

  2. Click the Edit Question Set button.

  3. You can:
    • Add a new question.
    • Drag questions to rearrange the order.
    • Drop a question outside the window to remove it.

  4. Click the Save button.
