Permissions

Your permissions are determined by your Cris user account settings.

Cris

Buttons will be greyed out if you do not have access to a particular feature. This is often due to user permissions, but it may also be that the feature is not available at that time. For example, the Report button is not available until an event has been attended.

Example:

If you are clerical, you can view lists, attend patients, and make appointments.

If you are a reporting clinician, you can write and verify reports.

If you are a junior clinician, you can write and save reports, but not verify.

Cris Communicator

Your permissions are determined by the Communicator role assigned by your system administrator. See Manage referrers, staff, and users.

Example:

There are seven roles in Communicator: Administrator; Designer; Log Viewer; Patient Data Viewer; Report Viewer; Security Administrator; and Type Setup. You can see what each can do in the picture above.

Cris Analytics

Your permissions are determined by your Analytics user account settings.

Buttons will be greyed out if you do not have access to a particular feature.

Example:

There are five basic roles in Analytics: Administrator; Designer; Chart Explorer; User; and Chart Viewer, which can be adapted to produce bespoke roles (for example, Radiographer). You will be assigned permissions based upon your requirements.

Cris (MobilePost Processing

Your permissions are determined by your Cris user account settings.

Note:

To access Cris Mobile you must have a user login for the associated Cris database, and the IRAD security setting Role in your assigned activities. See Security settings.
