Monitor logs

You should monitor the Error Log regularly, especially for ‘Could not send’ and ‘Results Not Sent’ .
- Select a date range.
- Click List.
Message | Reason | How to resolve |
Could not check email listener | This is a common error message. It is not a problem unless the errors are continuous. | Contact Magentus if there is an hour or more of this message. |
Listener has not received any messages. | This error is usually seen at quieter times like weekends. | No action is required. The error will stop once a message is received. |
Unrecognised email | Occurs when an email arrives without the acknowledgement key. | Remind the referrer to check that they include the acknowledgement key in their email reply. |
Could not send | Occurs when a referrer does not have a communication method. | Select a communication method (EMAIL) on the Referral / Referral Source configuration page. |
