Attend a patient event

When a patient arrives in your department, you can mark their attendance via the patient record, Request List, or Appointments List. Attending an event with a room code makes the event appear on the imaging room machine (modality) so the clinician can see they have arrived.

  1. Confirm patient's identity and search for their record.

  2. Open the patient record.

  3. Select the event.

  4. Click the Change button.

  5. Ask the patient to confirm the name of the examination.
  6. Double-click or press F4 in the Mobility field and select a mobility.

    7. Knowing the patient's mobility in advance can help the clinician prepare the room.

  7. Double-click or press F4 in the Room field and select the appropriate room.
  8. Click the Attend button.

  9. OPTIONAL: Select a tickbox to print a label.

  10. OPTIONAL: Select a tickbox to scan a document (the request card should already be present).

  11. Click the Attend button.

  3. Check at least three identifying details with the patient. For example, name, date of birth, and address.

  4. Ask the patient to confirm the name of the examination.
  5. Double-click or press F4 in the Mobility field and select a mobility.

  7. Click the Attend button.
