Find an exam

Search for exams via the Search screen (ROI: this can be found via the Vetting Search app) or vetting worklist.

  1. Select the Quick Search button.
  2. Enter part or all of the patient's name in the Search field.
  3. Press Enter.

  4. Matching results are displayed. Click to open an order / exam.

Note:

Order = new order, not acknowledged via core Cris.

Exam = already acknowledged request, appointment, or waiting list event.

  1. Select the Advanced Search button.
  2. Select a search tab.
  3. Enter text in the Search field.
  4. Repeat as required for fewer results.
  5. Press Enter.

  6. Matching results are displayed. Click to open an order / exam.

Order = new order, not acknowledged via core Cris.

Exam = already acknowledged request, appointment, or waiting list event.

  1. Click Worklists.
  2. Select a trust.

    3. The dashboard opens.

  3. Click a dial to open a worklist.

Note:

Dials are greyed out when there are no events in that worklist. You cannot open an empty worklist.

  1. Click a dial to open a worklist.

  2. Enter text in the filter field. Matching results are highlighted in red.

Warning:

New orders for multiple procedures for the same patient need to be checked to determine if they should be performed together or separately.

UK: Each order arrives as a separate item. Before vetting, you may wish to link multiple orders for one patient into one event (all procedures will be performed at the same time).

NIMIS: Procedures ordered at the same time are automatically combined into one event. Before vetting, you may wish to unlink multiple orders for one patient (procedures will be performed at different times).

Patient details

Surname, Forename, DOB, Gender

Patient numbers

Cris, Hospital, NHS, CHI, IHI, MRN

Exam numbers

Accession, Event

Event details

Location, Requesting physician, Intended clinician, Lead clinician
