Reporting

• When an exam is selected from a worklist the Reporting screen opens.
• Corresponding images will be opened automatically via your PACS.
• If the expected PACS images are not displayed click Images

• Click to open / close this section.
• Enter text using your keyboard or voice commands.
• The save buttons will not appear if this section is empty.

You can add a hyperlink to your report. For example, to an external study for comparison.

1. Write link text as you want it to appear in the report.
2. Highlight the text.
3. Click Link
4. Enter the URL.

5. Click Done.



You have the option to change or remove the link.

Coded phrases that were created in Cris can also be used in Reporting.

If you know the code you can enter it directly into the report (not case-sensitive) followed by Alt and C to convert the code into its associated phrase.

OR

1. Hold Alt and press M to open the coded phrase menu.
2. Enter text in the Search field to filter the list of phrases.
3. Click a phrase to enter it into the report.

To create a short phrase voice command, see Short phrase command

You can use text formatting to apply bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough effects. You can also change the text alignment and select small, normal, large, or huge text size.

• Select the text you wish to format, and select the required option.

1. Find a single-exam event and double-click to open.
2. Images will be automatically loaded via your PACS. If the expected images are not displayed, click Images 
3. View event information
4. Switch your microphone on
5. Check that the cursor is in the exam field.
6. Dictate your report. See Standard voice commands
7. Say Finish report or Verify report

OR

8. Click Finished or Verify.

There must be text in both the Clinical history and Exam sections before you can save a report.

1. The Multiple exams iconindicates the number of exams in a multi-exam event. Hover over the icon for full exam descriptions.
2. Double-click an exam to open the whole event.
3. Each exam will be displayed in a separate tab. Hover over a tab to view the exam description.
4. Click on any of the exam tabs or say Next exam or Previous exam to move through the report tabs.
5. Images will be automatically loaded via your PACS. If the expected images are not displayed, click Images
6. View event information
7. Switch your microphone on
8. Check that the cursor is in the exam field.

10. Say Finish report or Verify report

OR

11. Click Finished or Verify.

12. If there are any exams with no report text when you select Finished or Verify for one exam in an event, a prompt will be displayed asking "Does the text represent the whole report for all exams?". Click No.

11. The Consolidate Report window opens. Click Yes.
