Referrers
The Referrers table contains a complete list of registered clinicians. It is populated by the national dataset but you may add or edit a clinician, if required, between updates.

Before adding a referrer, it is good practice to search for them. Start your search with the surname before removing SHA and Type fields.
- Click Tables Setup.
- Select People > Referrers.
-
Enter a code or a surname.
-
Press the Enter key.
-
If not found, delete the code in the Type field.
-
Press the Enter key.
-
If still not found, delete the number in the SHA field.
-
Press the Enter key.
SHA and Type filter results. You can clear these fields to search the entire table.

- Click Tables Setup.
- Select People > Referrers.
- Check your referrer is not already in the table. Search for a referrer.
- Click the New button.
- Complete the fields. See the table below.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Refresh Table button.
Tip:
We recommend clicking Tools > Refresh Tables after editing system settings / tables to ensure that all changes are applied.

System Administration: Referrers
Search using the surname, to reduce the number of results, before removing the SHA or TYPE values.
A referrer may request imaging from different locations (GP practice, hospital clinic). Cris needs the correct referrer and location to ensure results are sent to the right place.
